Cricket Format Explained
T20 (Twenty20)
Just 20 overs per team, usually finished within 3 hours. The most betting action of any format, with live odds changing rapidly. BPL and IPL are played in this format.
ODI (One-Day International)
50 overs per team, a full day's play. Most major tournaments outside the ICC World Cup and T20 World Cup are played in this format. Wicket and run markets mid-match are popular.
Test
Up to 5 days of play, with two innings per team. The most strategic format in cricket. Match winner, series winner and top performer markets are available.
The Hundred
A newer format from England where each team faces just 100 balls. An over ends every 5 balls. Betting markets for this fast-paced format are comparatively new.
Popular leagues: BPL (Bangladesh Premier League), IPL (Indian Premier League), BBL (Big Bash League) and PSL (Pakistan Super League) — all covered on acy365.
RTP and House Edge Explained
RTP, or Return to Player, is a statistic showing what percentage of total bets placed in a game is returned to players over the long term. For example, if a game has an RTP of 96%, the expectation is that on average ৳96 is returned for every ৳100 wagered — but this is not a guarantee for any individual session.
House edge is the flip side of RTP. If a game's RTP is 96%, the house edge is 4%. Typical RTP ranges across game categories: slot games 92–98%, blackjack around 99%, roulette 94–97%.
A high RTP does not mean you will always win — it is an average across millions of rounds. Each round is independent and random. So RTP is a useful piece of information, but it is not possible to predict the outcome of any individual session.
Before playing, check the RTP and volatility in the game info section. Low-volatility games pay out small rewards frequently, while high-volatility games offer the chance for bigger rewards but with longer gaps between wins.
